Figuring out how to blog
FYI, I'm not a blogger. Is that even a word anymore?
I may have just dated myself.
Anyway, I have no idea what I'm doing, so welcome to the page of random musings from me. Some may be insightful, others, eh, maybe not, but I hope you find something you're looking for, or just get a kick out of watching me try to figure this out.

Here's a random picture my husband took of me working on Mountain Lake. Yes, this was taken in the middle of summer, nowhere near Christmas, and those are uber fuzzy Christmas socks with rubber grippy things on the bottom.
They're amazing, and you're just jealous that you don't have any on right now.
I love socks, especially super fuzzy warm ones since my studio is in my basement with concrete cold floors. And yes, my socks, and let's face it most of my clothes, often have paint on them.

When I'm not working my day job, or finding time to paint, I'm spending as much time with my family as possible. Here we are celebrating our youngest son's birthday with a round of glow bowling, and those are glowing light-stick earrings I'm sporting.
Just so you know, I'm a terrible bowler, like, I think I ended the night in the 60s.
I'll stick to painting.
Hopefully I figure out this bloggy thing, because I'm sure there will be plenty I want to share with you. If there's something you'd like me to discuss (art-wise), feel free to make suggestions or requests and I'll see what I can do.
Until later, thanks for stopping by!
